Emily Lindquist is a singer-songwriter and worship leader based in New York City. Originally from Southern California, Emily's musical journey began with piano lessons at the age of five, and led her to train as a competitive classical vocalist. She grew up worship leading in the church from 5th grade on, but throughout college, she found herself playing worship songs in the practice rooms rather than rehearsing arias. She realized that her heart was for worship music and ministry to Jesus. She has a passion for the church and seeing the bride of Christ sing and respond to His glory and beauty. 

She now resides in the heart of Manhattan with her husband, Matt, and is currently serving as the Worship Arts Pastor at Church of the City New York. Emily holds a profound passion for living a lifestyle of worship, and brings a wealth of experience and excellence to her ministry. She hopes to leave a lasting legacy of faith and devotion to Jesus through her music. 

Driven by a desire to see purity of heart return to corporate worship, and a commitment to raise up the next generation of worshippers to love and glorify Jesus, Emily actively mentors worship leaders around the world. Her music resonates deeply with the heart cries of consecrated souls longing for Jesus and His return. 

Most recently, Emily with Church of the City New York has released a full Album called 'Where He's Wanted'. It is a collection of 10 songs recorded live in New York City, centering around creating a place for the Presence of the Lord to dwell. These songs give language and fuel to people who are looking to consecrate their hearts and lives fully for the Lord and she is thrilled to share them with the Church.
